About the event

Do you know what your natural work style is?

In any workplace, you'll encounter a mix of personalities and work styles. While this diversity can occasionally cause misunderstandings or disagreements, it more often sparks innovative and effective problem-solving. By gaining a deeper understanding of various work styles, including your own, you can improve your ability to collaborate and contribute more effectively to your team.

In this workshop, you will find out:

  • how your natural workstyle effects the way you think and operate,
  • the impact your work style has on different people and situations,
  • the benefits of your work style, and
  • when and how to adapt it to get the most from your relationships.

We’ll also be looking at different cultural work styles and how that impacts success in the New Zealand workplace. Plus exploring the benefits and challenges new migrants face settling in to Aotearoa.

This workshop is led by Trish Lui.

Trish has significant experience and expertise as a learning and development consultant, facilitator and coach working with a wide range of organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She brings over 20 years of expertise in learning and development, building on a successful 10-year career in recruitment.

Her approach is appreciative, strengths-based and her areas of passion and expertise include: working with groups and individuals to find out what their natural styles and strengths are and how to build on those, developing high performing teams, design and delivery of leadership and management development programmes and one-on-one coaching.

Format

As usual we’ll be starting at 12pm and enjoying networking and a light lunch kindly sponsored by KPMG from 1-1.30pm.
